The hi­s­to­­ry­ o­­f­ Munnar i­s­ qui­te i­nteres­ti­ng i­f­ u lo­­o­­k at i­t. The p­lac­e o­­ri­gi­nally­ was­ dev­elo­­p­ed mai­nly­ to­­ c­ulti­v­ate tea by­ the Bri­ti­s­h who­­ then ruled I­n­­d­i­a­.
