By Rail To Anjuna Goa: The nearest railway station to Anjuna is located eight kilometres from Anjuna in Mapusa. From there the cheapest way to get to Anjuna is by bus. However there are taxis easily available and even auto rickshaws.
By Road To Anjuna Goa: Goa is well connected by road to cities like Bangalore, Mangalore, Pune and Mumbai. There are government operated, as well as private operated buses available to choose from. The buses also offer a range of option, from semi-deluxe to luxury buses. There are bus services to Panjim and Kadamba, one can get down in any one of the destination and either take local bus or hire taxis. A very unique way of travelling in Goa is also by motorcycle taxis, which can be used for short trips.
In north Goa, one can either explore the beaches on foot or use auto rickshaws and taxis to explore the lanes. The best way to get around is of course on hired motorbikes and scooters. The motorbikes and scooters are easily available on rent, most hotels and restaurants can arrange for one. They cost anywhere between Rs 150 to Rs 400 per day. You will need to have a valid license to hire the bikes. Bicycles are also available for rent. If you are hiring bikes then fill your petrol to the fullest because the petrol pumps are located far away from each other. From Anjuna the nearest petrol pump is near Vagator.
